**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Construction Administrative Assistant to support our design engineer projects by providing administrative assistance with permitting, preparing specifications, completing various standard forms and calculations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to multitask effectively, desire to learn and engineering and construction background.
**Duties:**
- Assist with coordinating, tracking State and County Permit Applications
- Maintain project documentation and files
- Perform order entry and proofreading tasks
- Provide customer support and handle inquiries
- Support the front desk operations
- Assist with filing and organizing project documents
**Experience**
- Previous experience in an administrative role is desired
- A construction background is desired
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus but not necessary
- Familiarity with phone systems and customer service practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be self-directed and prioritize tasks effectively
