Position: Golf Services Attendant
Reports To: Head Golf Professional
Compensation: $12-$14/hour for 20-40 hours/week (Approximately)
Classification: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Start Date: May 1st (Approximately)
End Date: November 30th (Approximately)
Essential Function:
Ensure a well maintained, welcoming and prepared environment for members and guests utilizing the golf facilities of the club. Following and executing the golf department standard operating procedures to make certain that all patrons receive an effortless start, quality of play and memorable experience through superior customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining the functionality and cleanliness of the Golf Shop, Cart Barn and Range by the standards established by the Head Professional.
- Welcoming and acknowledging all visitors within the Golf Operations. Readily available to assist players upon arrival, during their play and at their departure.
- Provide a high level of customer service to the members and guests at all times.
- Maintain a team player mentality and conquer any task given by a member, guest or superior.
- Acquire and retain information about club policy, club rules, or upcoming events to be able to answer various questions.
- Perform duties that include opening and/or closing procedures, maintaining the golf car fleet, stocking, and organizing the practice facility and short game areas.
- Assist with setup and tear down of golf tournaments and golf instructional events such as clinics, camps, and golf schools.
- The individual will also be trained and called upon to forecaddie for members and guests upon request.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED minimum.
- Must be able to lift approximately 50lbs safely to handle golf bags and range balls.
- 1-3 years of experience in retail, country club or customer service industry is preferred.
- Knowledge in the game of golf is recommended, but not required.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
Note:
- This is a part-time position including holiday, weekend, and evening hours.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
