The Opportunity:
Steam Logistics is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst who possess both a strong understanding of business processes and information technology, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. In this role you will be responsible for evaluating, implementing, and optimizing technology solutions to support our business objectives as a third-party logistics provider. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, allowing us to create and implement solutions that leverage the best technology.
Responsibilities-
- Analyze existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Develop and document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, wireframes, and system design documents
- Evaluate and recommend software applications, tools, and technologies to enhance business processes and efficiency
- Facilitate the design, development, and implementation of new systems and enhancements
- Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing, and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet business requirements
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience-
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, such as process mapping, data modeling, and requirements elicitation
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, customer relationship management (CRM) software, transportation management system (TMS) and other business applications
- Familiarity with project management principles and software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Required experience with Agile methodology
- Required experience with Jira software and Confluence project space
