What you’ll be doing in the role of Human Resources Coordinator:
The Human Resources Coordinator will assist the Chief People & Culture Officer in facilitating the human resources processes at all locations. This role will manage the hiring process from recruiting to onboarding. This role provides administrative support to the human resources function as needed, including record keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry and other duties as assigned.
- Assists in the administration of health and welfare plans, managing enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Reconciles benefit statements.
- Manages all aspects of HRIS system (Paycom)
- Process bi-weekly payroll and any required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Manage employee tax profiles, and year end tax form compliance.
- Completes I-9 Forms, verifies documentation and maintains files.
- Leads recruitment and interview process including all management of indeed, initial contact with candidates, scheduling phone screens/interviews, tracking status of candidates in HRIS, and ensuring follow-up letters are sent at end of process.
- Manages hiring process including, making offers, sending offer letters, scheduling NHO and completing all background and reference verifications.
- Leads onboarding of all new hires, including compliance in paperwork, required training, and continuously improving the onboarding process to retain top talent.
- Leads processing of enrollments/terminations in HRIS systems.
- Engages with employees to answer questions, requests, and train in policy and procedures.
- Assists with completion of monthly reports.
- Performs administrative duties such as photocopies, mail, scanning, and emailing documents.
- Ensures all employee files are kept up to date.
- Sets up new employee files.
- Manage the CHPA Volunteer Program
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- HR/Payroll experience – PayCom preferred
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 2 years’ HR/people management experience required
