JA Fielden is currently looking for Assistant Superintendents in Spring Hill, TN for Multi Family Construction project.
As an Assistant Superintendent at JA Fielden, your primary responsibility is to assist the Superintendent in managing the job site along with the overall on-site day-to-day supervision for the construction project to include:
- Assist with directing trade personnel and subcontractors.
- Schedule and sequence the day-to-day activities and procurement of materials for the project.
- Oversee individual projects to assure compliance with the scope and quality as established by the contract documents.
- Enforce site cleanliness, safety, health, and SWPPP programs.
- Proactively anticipate and solve problems that could delay construction.
- Manage the permit and inspection process.
- Maintain QC/QA files and update as-built drawings.
- Attend and conduct regularly scheduled progress meetings.
- Assist the Superintendent as necessary and other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Site work experience
- Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and Procore software
- Strong, clear and concise communication skills
- Demonstrate effective organizational and time management skills
- Ability to read drawings and specifications
- Commitment to safety
- Possess the ability to work effectively with others, build relationships and resolve conflict
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience
- Site work experience

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
