We have an immediate need for a full-time Lifestyle Coordinator to join the team at Pinnacle Living at Forts Ferry, one of United Group's professionally managed active adult communities located in Latham, NY.
Major Tasks + Key Responsibilities:

Develops new programs and coordinate activities for residents that support the SUN program

Creates calendars, fliers, posters, newsletters, or other materials for the purpose of announcing upcoming programs

Documents resident activity and personal work activity through notes, care plans, or other written documentation

Arranges and serves appropriate refreshments for activities according to resident diet order

Monitors materials and supplies; orders supplies as needed; stocks supplies upon receipt

Acts as a liaison to senior service and health care providers in the community

Provides ongoing information and communications with residents in conjunction with management staff via newsletter and event calendar

Performs community outreach consistent with marketing plan and leasing objectives

Assists with marketing/tabling events

Assists with overall leasing of vacant units
Job Overview + Requirements:

Job Type: Lifestyle Coordinator; $18 per hour

Work Hours: Full Time; Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm (weekends and weekday evenings required as needed for scheduled events)

Physical Requirements: Light lifting and carrying

Required Education: College Degree or Applicable Work History

Required Experience: 2 - 3 years of experience in event planning, preferably residential property management, experience in active/independent adult (55+) market. Proficient in Microsoft Office products, i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher.

Qualities: Demonstrates integrity on a personal and professional level; Exceptional communication, sales, negotiation, and leadership skills; Willingness to work respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds required, seniors preferred; Ability to solve problems involving residents, personnel, finances, emergency situations, etc.
