Summary of Position:
Reporting to the Head Distiller, the Production Associate is responsible for product production, recordkeeping, equipment maintenance and cleaning.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Follow all standard operating procedures, such as safety and sanitary regulation, all federal, state, and local regulations.
· Production of all products from grain, mashing, fermentation, barreling, aging, bottling, and packaging.
· Maintain process logs and detailed records to ensure the product meets quality guidelines.
· Alerts management of potential security threats.

· Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
· Ability to operate or to quickly learn the distillery management system.
· Ability to operate distilling and bottling equipment as well as a forklift, cargo truck, etc.
· General math skills.
· Ability to work with a team.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not currently have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This job entails frequent exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity and extreme cold. This job operates in a production area and routinely uses distilling equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit, and stand. The employee is frequently required to reach, bend, stoop, carry, push, and lift objects up to 75 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position and based on a 40 hour work week with a schedule TBD.
Preferred Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
