Position Summary
We are seeking an organized, energetic, and results-driven regional business development manager to join our team. In this role you will oversee all business development in Florida, Alabama, Georgio, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana and work to grow your customer base through the Artcobell dealer network. Candidate must excel in initiating and developing relationships with key influencers and decision makers in the furniture selection process. This individual is required to be based out of Florida.
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare annual business plan, including identification of key influencers within the Artcobell dealer network such as, target clients aligned with each firm, prioritization of target accounts, strategies to develop each account and working collaboratively to increase market share.
- Jointly develop go-to-market strategies and tactics with dealers, and support them in the field, to get Artcobell furniture specified on dealer-led projects.
- Call on school districts with active bond measures or other projects to create brand awareness and present the Dealer Sales Reps and other services that Artcobell provides to support the school district.
- Assist our dealers on local, state, regional, cooperative, and national contracts to facilitate schools’ procurement process.
- Initiate contact, develop working relationships and build the Artcobell brand with key A&D firms in the educational market and actively support their projects to drive the specification process to utilize the Artcobell line and support CEU’s to the firms if required.
- Develop and maintain thorough understanding of Artcobell product lines, as well as competitive products to ensure most up-to-date product knowledge.
- Participate in national Artcobell trade shows, as well as attend state/local tradeshows with product placement in dealer booths.
- Actively schedule and conduct new product and program presentations to dealer sales representatives and provide other business development assistance as needed.
- Strategically position Artcobell value proposition relative to competitors to potential clients to educate customers on benefits and value of using Artcobell.
- Conduct regular business reviews with leadership and continually update CRM to support operations and production forecasting.
- Accomplish business development and other Artcobell objectives by completing related results as assigned.
Experience Required:
- Five years business development experience within a manufacturing industry. School furniture experience a plus.
- Minimum 3 years outside sales experience and a proven sales record.
- Knowledge and understanding of the dealer/manufacturer sales model.

- Strong customer orientation and adaptable to the needs and styles of diverse audiences (A&D firms, dealers, and schools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the capability of creating and delivering a pristine presentation.

Qualifications/Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Travel Requirements:
- Approximately 50% travel required within territory and national shows.
