The Patio Place is looking for a part time and full time employee with weekend availability to work with our friendly sales staff. Customer service / sales experience is preferred but not a must. Primarily looking for energetic individuals with outgoing personalities and a positive attitude that like working with our clients and providing them with great service. Store hours are 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday and 12pm-5pm on Sundays leaving evenings available for family or school time.
Sales Associates are to be responsible for all sales job duties. Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. To be successful as a Sales associate, you should stay up-to-date with product features and maintain our store’s visual appearance in high standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
- Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
- “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
- Process purchases
- Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales associate, Sales representative or similar role
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Basic Math skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Availability to work flexible shifts
- Legible Handwriting
- High school degree
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 38 per week
