The Business Analyst position in the GSA will involve identifying problems and potential solutions, and will therefore require a detail-oriented and analytical candidate. The desired ASM will therefore be tasked with understanding business requirements and procedures and implementing corrective measures that can help the business function better. This role also requires an effective communication with stakeholders of the agency in order to collect necessary information regarding requirements and business cases, as well as to aid in effective implementation of change through the system and process enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit requirements using interviews, process and document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
- Provides expertise in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, implementation efforts.
- Provides expertise in change management and training support; Provides organizational and strategic planning for the wide variety of technical and functional Project Management Support Services BPA GSA Solicitation Number: 47HAA024Q0020 Page 20 of 34 environments.
- Provides expertise in performing studies including but not limited to Configuration Management, Disaster Recovery, Strategic Planning, Business Analysis, Technical Analysis, and other aspects of technology and business improvement analysis.

Experience:
- At least 1 year of IT experience and an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical field.
- At least 2 years of IT experience and education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical field with no degree requirement.
