ITCON Services is seeking a
Corporate Recruiter to provide recruiting support to our growing Human Resources team, hiring managers, and clients! Our ideal candidate is a skilled communicator and adept at handling changing priorities in the evolving world of technology and government contracting.

This role would be based at ITCON Services headquarters in Tysons Corner, Virginia, or remote if the right candidate is not based in the DMV Area.
This position will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and testing qualified candidates and meeting headcount requirements for a variety of contact center programs for ITCON Services. The recruiter is responsible for development and implementation of recruitment strategies for ITCON's hiring teams and implements a variety of recruiting methods including advertising, community networking, and creative development of diverse recruiting sources.
Essential Responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience of utilizing job boards, social media, networking and internal recruiting tools (such as Indeed, Monster, JobDiva, DICE and LinkedIn to source and fill open positions with highly qualified talent).
- Ensure alignment of recruiting activities with business goals and hiring objectives.
- Perform targeted candidate searches; increase applicant flow via internet job boards, employee referrals, local advertising and social networks.
- Consult with leadership, operations and HR teams to understand and carry out targeted recruiting campaigns.
- Review and pre-screen resumes.
- Conduct phone screens and skills assessments.
- Maintain consistent standards for all applicants and ensure compliance with all local rules and regulations related to hiring and recruiting
- Responsible for developing and applying an in-depth knowledge of the job specifications to include experience, skills, and behavioral competencies needed for success in each role.
- Host on-site interviews, job fairs and informational sessions.
- Responsible for filling a minimum number of new hires on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Prepare offer letters and administer background & drug screening paperwork to applicants, as well as process and document results.
- Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation.
- Report daily on recruiting activities, challenges and strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D. however, a Bachelor's degree would be preferred.
- Min 3+ years of experience as a Recruiter working for a small business, IT Consulting Firm preferably serving Federal Agencies.
- Experience in a call center environment is a plus.
- Preferred experience in high-volume recruiting.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding employment and hiring practices.

Work and Schedule Requirements
The core focus of this position is to hire candidates for a variety of positions in a call center environment. This requires the regular use of a phone, computer, and a variety of office equipment. Events such as job fairs and informational sessions may require standing or sitting for long periods of time. While the schedule is generally Monday through Friday with hours between 8:00 am – 6:00 pm EST, candidates must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required. Qualified candidates must also be able to travel occasionally.
