Senior Project Manager, Fiber-to-the-Home
About the role
Passionate about Fiber delivery? Your next role will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the successful implementation of FTTH projects nationally. We’re on the lookout for a thorough Senior Project Manager who can help us coordinate various aspects of multiple projects ensuring that the project meets its objectives within scope, time, and budget. Based in our modern Atlanta office, you will be responsible for driving Fiber-to-the-Home delivery.
What you’ll be doing
As part of the Operations Organization, you’ll help to deliver a variety of projects on and off military bases across the country. At all levels, colleagues will rely on your thorough planning to deliver and deploy best in class solutions. It’s a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you’ll mainly be involved with:
Project Planning:

Develop comprehensive project plans outlining the scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timelines for FTTH deployments.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
Team Leadership:

Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.

Delegate tasks, set expectations, and ensure team members have the resources needed for successful project execution.
Budget Management:

Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.

Monitor project expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
Timeline Management:

Create and maintain project schedules, identifying critical path activities and milestones.

Implement strategies to ensure project timelines are met and address any delays or obstacles.
Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success.

Develop risk mitigation plans and proactively address challenges as they arise during the project lifecycle.
Quality Assurance:

Implement and enforce quality standards for FTTH network installations and infrastructure.

Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Vendor and Contractor Management:

Select, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Ensure that external partners meet project requirements and adhere to agreed-upon timelines.
Communication and Reporting:

Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholders.

Provide regular project updates, status reports, and performance metrics to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
Regulatory Compliance:

Stay informed about and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing FTTH deployments.

Work with legal and regulatory teams to address compliance issues.
Customer Satisfaction:

Collaborate with customer support teams to address customer concerns or issues related to FTTH services.

Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, change orders, and post-project reports.

Ensure that all project documentation is organized and easily accessible.
What you’ll bring

Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Extensive experience in a senior leadership role overseeing large-scale FTTH or telecommunications projects.

Proven track record of strategic planning, portfolio management, and successful project delivery.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.

Experience with military personnel preferred

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
-
U.S. Passport required in order to visit U.S military bases as needed for meetings

Salary: $125,000 - $135,000 per year
