JOB TITLE: Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative
DEPARTMENT: Sales / Administration
REPORTS TO: Vice President – Sales/Business Development
PAY RANGE: $20.00/Hour to $35.00/Hour based on experience
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES:
- Manage assigned customers’ satisfaction including responsiveness, quality, accuracy with respect to quotations, order acknowledgment and order status
- Build strong working relationships with key customer accounts
- Create cost estimates and provide Quotes on customer requirements in a timely manner
- Partner with Production Planner to report and escalate as needed on customers’ needs and problems including order status, delivery and quality
- Work closely with Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Sales to provide customer support
- Partner with Sales and Application Engineering to investigate and qualify sales leads and new product development
- Develop and grow new customers with the support of Sales and Application Engineering
- Data entry using MS Office, Company Intranet, Quote database, E2 ERP, etc.
- Follow established procedures for quotations, order entry and job review for customers
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that assigned customers have assistance as needed
- Answer calls/emails from customers and provide necessary information
- Liaison between customer, Engineering, Sales, Production to provide necessary services
- Read and interpret customer drawings and specifications
- Develop and maintain well-coordinated relationships with assigned customers
- Provide quotes on new and existing products
- Follow-up with customers on Open Quotes and Bid Packages to promote winning sales opportunities
- Determine proper manufacturing process and lead times with production and engineering
- Investigate new sales leads and support new product development
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED is required. Associates degree is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years in a technical field (manufacturing environment preferred) providing customer service and/or inside sales
- Proficient in English (oral and written) to interact with customers
- Courteous manner with customers, vendors and employees
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Flexible in work assignments, able to multi-task, able to meet deadlines
- Team player

Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
