PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Night Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operations of the Food and Beverage, Engineering, Front Desk, and Housekeeping departments during the night shift. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of these departments, maintain high-quality service standards, and provide exceptional guest experiences. All duties are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Manage the night shift operations of the Food and Beverage, Engineering, Front Desk, and Housekeeping departments.
- Ensure that all departments are operating efficiently and effectively during the night shift.
- Coordinate with department heads and staff to address any issues or concerns that may arise during the night.
- Monitor and maintain quality standards for guest services in all outlined departments.
- Assist in resolving guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Oversee the night audit process and ensure accurate completion of daily reports and transactions.
- Manage and resolve any emergencies or situations that may arise during the night shift.
- Train and develop staff to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Perform regular inspections of hotel facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are met.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or equivalent combination of education and or experience.
- 3 years’ experience in Hotel Ops and/or Food & Beverage Operations.
- 2 years’ experience supervisory/management.
PREFERRED:
- Bilingual, English as the primary or secondary language.
- Previous experience working in a similar position and/or resort setting.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Food Handler's Card

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Experience in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel or their equivalents.
- Experience with Opera & InfoGenesis
- Excellent customer service skills, friendly and courteous at all times yet fair and firm in resolving potential guest or employee problems and concerns.
- Knowledgeable of basic Windows and Microsoft computer systems
- Proficient in performing, basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to observe and remember details and to follow directions effectively.
- Ability to maintain a friendly, polite demeanor when providing excellent guest service.
- Effective listening abilities with strong judgment
- Work indoors and occasionally outdoors with exposure to cold or warm temperatures.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.
