We are looking for Teacher Assistants to full our full-time & part-time positions that offers a pay rate of $16-$17 per hour, Pompano Beach Monday- Friday.

We are hiring for multiple aftercare positions included lead teacher assistant in Ft Lauderdale, Lauderhill and Pompano Beach. When you join our team, you will implement our curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child. Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn. Partner and communicate with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children. Build positive relationships with families, teachers and community stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
A strong desire to bring joy to children. Ability to think creatively and use innovative techniques to encourage learning. Capacity to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happens and meaningful connections occur. A love of knowledge and in return a desire to share knowledge. Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, manage multiple situations effectively and a strong sense of integrity and accountability. A desire to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Experience (preferred) -
- At least 2 years’ experience working with children with or without disabilities. High School Diploma.
- DCF 45 hour’s childcare training or willingness to obtain (within 90 days of hire. Must be able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
- Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
