The City of Lake Oswego is searching for dependable, responsible contributors committed to professionalism, excellence and success. The highly rated Finance Department is seeking an individual to focus on billing functions. Incumbents will perform complex clerical, records and para-professional duties in supporting and coordinating the City's utility billing processes/systems.
This position is temporary status working 40 hours per week for a duration of three to six months. There are no benefits associated with temporary status positions.
Priority consideration will be given to applicants with two years related work experience and knowledge of financial record keeping systems, methods and principles. Candidates must have strong skills with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe Suite applications. Selected candidates will be personable and professional and they must be able to communicate with the public and City employees in a clear, tactful and courteous manner. Must be able to use the keyboard and use general office equipment such as computers, printers, and fax machines.
This position is subject to mandatory participation in electronic funds transfer (EFT) for payment of net wages (i.e., Direct Deposit or PayCard).
