Position Overview
The Project Manager role will play a critical part in monitoring Baker Brothers projects and ensuring that our team fulfills the identified scope of work and maintains customer satisfaction. This role reports directly to the CEO and will have significant decision-making power within the confines of the business.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and supervise superintendents and field installation crews and all related work
· Prepare and maintain project schedule with information obtained from the sales contract, OneDrive and CRM.
· Lead the weekly project management meeting and report progress and any project-specific challenges
· Review project plans and specifications
· Monitor and maintain project schedule and costs daily
· Daily reporting of jobsite conditions and progress
· Control and monitor labor and equipment expenses
· Ensure as-built drawings are prepared for all large projects with Drafter
· Prepare and issue agendas and minutes for site meetings on all large projects
· Provide consistent communication to clients on job progress
· Manage subcontractors, as well as the process for vetting and hiring subcontractors and local temporary labor when needed
· Approve all project-specific invoices/purchase orders from vendors, subcontractors, or customers in a timely fashion
· Follow up on delivery and ship dates for ordered material
· Approve superintendent and installers timesheets and expense reports
Perform other job duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
· PMP certification from an accredited organization is highly preferred; however, success in a project management position will suffice
· Bachelor’s degree in construction management or similar is preferred
· Availability and flexibility to travel within the United States – this position will be required to travel to jobsites periodically and stay overnight (approximately 40% of travel can be expected)
· Demonstrated history in managing people and projects with effective planning and budgeting
· Attention to detail and thoroughness is necessary to be successful in this position
· Ability to read CAD drawings
· Excellent communication skills – verbally and written
· 5+ years in project management in the construction industry is preferred
· Desire to take initiative and improve the current processes that exist

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
