Position: Service Writer / Coordinator.
Location: San Juan, Texas - Rio Grande Valley

As a Service Department Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring outstanding customer service, maintenance, and repair experience for our valued customers. Your primary focus will be on maximizing machine uptime, customer retention, and contributing to the profitability of our dealership.

Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers requiring service or repairs.
- Gather detailed information on service needs, issues, and customer concerns.
- Schedule service appointments, coordinating with customers and service technicians to optimize workflow.
- Provide accurate service estimates to customers, detailing costs and timelines.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of ongoing services and repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service requests, and repair histories.
- Open, process and close work orders for completed work.
- Collaborate with the parts department to ensure the availability of required components for scheduled services or repairs.
- Conduct post-service follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with service technicians to verify that work meets quality standards.
Qualifications:
- (1) year experience as a Service Coordinator or Service Writer in the automotive/truck/heavy equipment industry
- (2) years of customer service in person or over the phone.
- Technical competence in work order processing.
- Proficient in resolving complex customer issues within the constraints of a service department.
- Ability to prioritize work and time allocation for self and others.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency.
- Bilingual in English / Spanish is required for this position.
