Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, ensuring quality food preparation, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and update menu offerings in collaboration with the chef
- Manage kitchen budgets and control costs effectively
Skills:
- Previous experience in the food service industry
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with POS system is a plus
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures
- Experience in bartending or coffee preparation is advantageous
- Prior experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen setting
- Understanding of proper food handling practices
