Job Summary:
The Moser Energy Systems Inside Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and meeting sales targets. This role involves preparing, submitting and following-up on all customer documentation including NDA’s, proposals, lease forms, and internal Moser unit reservation forms, to Moser’s go-to-market strategies. The applicant must live in or near San Antonio, Texas but may work from home.
Education/ Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or relevant field preferred.
- 5 years prior experience in a similar industry is preferred.

Supervisor:
Senior Vice President, Sales, unless otherwise designated.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.
- Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
- Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining stock-outs.
- Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing the sale, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for the customer.
- Develops accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
- Maintains and improves quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures.
- Engage with potential and existing customers to understand their needs, answer inquiries, and provide product or service information.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and services to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.
- Work closely with the sales team, marketing and other stakeholders to coordinate efforts and optimize sales strategies.
- Explore and evaluate potential sales manufacturers to act as distributors for Moser generators and other Moser product lines.
- Negotiate and establish distribution agreements with manufacturers, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall team goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and standards to inform and enhance technical sales efforts.
- Utilize CRM software and other sales tools to maintain accurate records, track progress, and streamline sales processes.
- Actively participate in all required training and safety meetings.
- Immediately report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to supervision.
- Abide by all policies and procedures established by Moser Energy Systems.
- Assist with any tasks required by the direct supervisor.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit and/ or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able to interact with people and technology while either standing or sitting.
