As a Shift Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and machinery within the facility. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in upholding safety standards and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.

- Equipment Maintenance and Repair:

Continue to grow and maintain safety culture to produce injury and incident free work environment through established safety programs and practices.

Work closely with engineering and operations to improve reliability plant wide

Respond to emergency work orders in Mechanical systems as required using proper safety and work procedures.

Exhibit good mechanical practices in repair, Pump and Machine alignment, and troubleshooting to eliminate recurring failures.

Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.

Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Shift assignments will be expected to train and participate in emergency response team.

Excellent training
You will bring:

High School Diploma or equivalent required;
-
Minimal of 2 years’ experience in the Manufacturing Maintenance field.

Working knowledge of rotating equipment, up to date alignment techniques and maintenance practices.

Self motivated individual with strong work ethics a must.

Mechanical Maintenance Skills and adequate electrical skills to enable response to all types of maintenance work orders.

Manufacturing plant maintenance experience.

Customer and safety focused;
-
Understanding of cost of downtime as related to missed shipments to customers;
-
Ability to work with others and assist with good troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of SAP or other computerized maintenance management system.
-
Working knowledge of Carbon Fibers processes a plus.

The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $35 per hour or more. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
