Position Summary
The Admission /Discharge Nurse is a professional nurse, who will be able to screen and document each patient presenting for admission, transfer or discharge. The nurse will complete the appropriate paperwork needed for admission, transfer or discharge of a patient. The Admission/Discharge Nurse will also perform nursing responsibilities and duties related to patient care.
Minimum Requirements
- NJ Licensed RN
- BLS
- ACLS and PALS within 3 months of hire date
- 2 years Med/Surg RN experience or 2 years of ER RN experience
- Intermediate computer skills, excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull
