The Department of Pediatric in the section of Hematology and Oncology is currently seeking an Assistant Professor (Hospitalist).
Scope of practice:

The preferred candidate is a physician who has completed a Pediatric Hematology-Oncology fellowship. This candidate would be hired at an Assistant Professor rank. Alternately a physician who has completed a General Pediatric or Internal Medicine-Pediatric residency could be considered and would be hired at an instructor rank.

Works as part of a multidisciplinary team to manage inpatient care of Hematology/Oncology patients. Attends to patient/nursing needs on admitted inpatients as well as assists with new admissions.
- May also be called to Emergency Department to assess patients.

Oversees junior level personnel including residents and advanced practice practitioners.

Supervises care they provide and provides education.
