We are a small craft-oriented metal shop that specializes in the custom fabrication and installation of architectural metal components such as stairs, railings, decorative cladding, and doors. Our primary work caters to private residential contractors in the greater Seattle area. Exceptional fit and finish, as well as attention to detail are the hallmarks of our work.
Our shop is seeking a to fill machinist/assembly role that involves all aspects of prepping work to be handed off to a fabrication partner. Daily tasks include saw operation, use of manual mill and lathe, as well as programming (conversational) a prototrak unit to run repeatable operations. The custom nature of our work typically requires problem solving skills to achieve efficient and high quality results. The ability to work well with other employees and contribute to a collaborative work environment are essential skills for this position.
Job skills include:
Clean driving record and reliable transportation to/from work.
General mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Familiarity with general construction principles.
