The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD (“The HARRIS CENTER”) is seeking a highly organized and diligent Administrative Assistant to join our team. Under the general supervision of the designated supervisor, you will perform a wide range of administrative tasks to support our service delivery and administrative operations. Your role will be crucial in maintaining records, preparing documents, managing supplies, and handling day-to-day administrative challenges. This position is perfect for someone who is adaptable, proactive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Your Role in Action:

Document Management: Produce and proofread correspondence and documents, maintaining an organized filing system according to our organizational standards.

Communication Hub: Receive and screen visitors and telephone calls, provide necessary notifications to staff, and manage messages effectively.

Supply Coordination: Oversee the ordering, planning, and distribution of supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Mail Handling: Process incoming and outgoing mail according to established procedures.

Customer Service Excellence: Address and resolve customer requests, complaints, and problems, or direct them to appropriate channels.

Workflow Optimization: Maintain an effective workflow system, resolving administrative issues and highlighting urgent matters to management.

Professional Conduct: Uphold professional behavior and provide excellent customer service, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with Agency policies.
