**Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Program Director to oversee and manage our program operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, program development, and supervising staff. This role involves leading and coordinating various programs to support individuals with developmental disabilities.
**Duties:**
- Supervise program staff, providing guidance and support
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness
- Monitor program outcomes and make data-driven decisions for improvement
- Conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in program management, preferably in behavioral health or developmental disabilities field
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams
- Proficiency in budgeting and resource allocation
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
- Knowledge of administrative processes related to program operations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Maintain primary leadership and responsibility for client care and programmatic aspects of
Intensive Services: ASAM 2.5 (PHP), ASAM 2.1 OOP) and ASAM 1.0 (Aftercare);
Maintain up to date census for Intensive Services and collaborate with administrative and billing staff to ensure timely billing;
Maintain primary responsibility for ensuring group coverage for acute coverage issues (i.e. illness of facilitator);
Collaborate with residential services case managers to manage flow of clients from residential to Intensive Services in a seamless manner;
Ensure accurate and timely management of the clinical records for clients in Intensive Services (that are not receiving residential services) to include: treatment planning, treatment plan updates, clinical notes (written by PD) and discharge summaries (including ensuring notes are co-signed as needed);
Maintain tracking of discharge outcome measures for clients that are receiving Outpatient Intensive Services;
Facilitate group and individual therapy;
Maintain required number of billable units as established by management; Participate in workplace meetings as requested and required by job duties; Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling or similar degree that leads to licensure in the Commonwealth of VA;
Licensed by DHP in Commonwealth of VA or license-eligible by DHP in Commonwealth of VA for
LCSW, LPC, LSATP
Valid driver's license
Self-motivated
Availability to work some evening hours
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to maintain program requirements and boundaries with compassion and respect
Problem solving abilities
Ability to complete and submit daily documentation
