Responsibilities and Duties
*Welcomes guests by greeting them; answering questions; responding to guests needs. The single most important job task is to make sure that every interaction with a guest leaves a smile on their face.
*Registers guests by obtaining or confirming room requirements; verifying pre-registration; assigning rooms; obtaining information; issuing room keys.
*Conveys information to guest by receiving and transmitting messages, mail, packages, etc.
*Provides information to guest by answering inquiries regarding hotel and other services guest may require, such as entertainment, shopping, business, and travel.
*Make hotel and other reservations by entering or telephoning requirements; checking availability; confirming requirements.
*Other duties as assigned
Requirements: The hotel operates 7 days a week. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and associates may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work and overtime as required. Position requires the knowledge; skill and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school. Some personality is also required. We want to continue having fun at work and don’t need any rain on our parade. The employee may need to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds.
