We are a 80-90 seat neighborhood bistro in Scarsdale. We have been open nine months and are looking to expand our services to include Brunch.
We are seeking an AM sous chef that would oversee production and execution of Brunch.
We are a seasonally based scratch kitchen.
Seeking someone who loves food and restaurants. You must have a high level of personal responsibility and good interpersonal skills as a manager of people. Must be punctual, professional, and skilled with a willingness to learn, teach, and collaborate.
Responsibilities include
-overseeing and executing brunch service
- Contribute to menu planning and recipe development.
- taking stock of inventory and preparing orders
-Effectively managing the crew ensuring each members execution of responsibilities and adherence to culinary standards.
- Uphold sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent culinary skills with a focus on execution and quality.
- Proficient in shift management and maintaining kitchen efficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while upholding high standards.
