Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned, dynamic Controller who has a track record of
managing financial operations for fast-growing enterprise companies. The
candidate is a strategic, process-driven problem solver who can proactively
execute at a high level and effectively collaborate with stakeholders within and
outside of the organization. The candidate should have experience leading and
motivating a high execution team. The Controller is responsible for complex
accounting to multiple legal entities and analysis of operations. The position
involves supervision over onshore and offshore team members. This person will
be a strategic partner to the VP Finance and Accounting and CFO and will develop
and maintain a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct and perform month-end close functions, including but not
limited to:
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly consolidated financial statements
and variance analysis
- Accounting for multiple legal entities
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations and prepare/review
quarterly disclosure schedules
- Assist in debt compliance reporting
- Supervisory responsibility - Oversee personnel needs of the offshore
accounting team members, including coaching, and training employees
and evaluating employee performance
- Analyze large amounts of data to ensure that fixed assets are
capitalized, and the associated revenues/COGS are correct for external
reporting
- Work closely with the Operations Team and other key business
partners/stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Identify areas for improvement and lead change initiatives to improve
the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes and controls
- Assist in preparing/reviewing work papers for annual audits
- Develop a productive working relationship with the internal and
external auditor, and facilitate the audit process
Education And/or Experience, Skills

Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting.

Completed CPA or pursuing CPA is required or equivalent.
7+ years of continuing work experience.
Experience in managerial role and managing people.
Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS is a plus
Healthcare experience is a plus
Big4 (public accounting) experience is a plus
