Job Title: Operations Manager - Restaurant

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our dynamic team at our thriving restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team management. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, cleanliness, and efficiency.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and systems to optimize workflows and enhance guest experiences.
- Create and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control measures to achieve revenue and profit goals.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate a skilled team, fostering a positive work environment and providing ongoing coaching and development.
- Cultivate strong guest relationships, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and continuously improving service standards.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices, implementing necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
- Collaborate with the ownership or executive management team on strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and business growth opportunities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role in the restaurant industry.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of restaurant operations, financial management, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff, guests, and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
