Position Summary:
As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive primary care services to our patient population.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as appropriate.
Deliver patient-centered care, emphasizing health education, counseling, and preventive services to empower patients in managing their health.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and specialists, to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and promote evidence-based practice.
Stay current with advances in healthcare through continuous professional development, attending relevant conferences, and engaging in educational opportunities.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Active and unrestricted license as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from a nationally recognized certifying body (e.g., AANP or ANCC).
Experience working with underserved populations, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and understanding of the unique healthcare challenges they face.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaboration and building rapport with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation and record-keeping.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
