Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager Overview
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager is responsible for tracking and reporting financial information to ensure compliance with GAAP and to make information available for strategic decision-making. You will help develop and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls and be significantly involved in our external audit.

Responsibilities

Determine appropriate transaction accounting treatment, record journal entries, and ensure GAAP compliance.
- Prepare roll-forwards and reconciliations. Resolve variances and accounting issues. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
- Generate timely financial statements, reports, and analytics for a multiple-entity organization.
- Professionally communicate and provide internal and external support for accounting-related issues.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Review, classify, and add credit card transactions to the General Ledger.
- Review and process employee expense reimbursements.
- Ensure proper cutoff for monthly close.
- Maintain the schedule of prepaid expenses and record entries.
- Identify, calculate, and record accrual entries.
- Maintain the lease schedule and record journal entries in accordance with ASC 842.
- Maintain the fixed asset sub-ledger and record depreciation.
- Assist with the accounting and consolidation of a foreign entity.
- Provide updates and insights for company cash flow forecasting.
- Develop, improve, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Assist with accounting system maintenance.
- Support audit and tax engagements.
- Perform internal audit functions.
Required

Continual Improvement Mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Registered or Licensed CPA
- At least five years of experience in accounting and finance, tracking and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and maintaining an accounting system general ledger.
- Ability and willingness to collaborate or work independently as necessary.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and add value to a growing company.
- Ability to stay organized, multi-task, and prioritize to manage a large workload effectively.
