Associate Dentist
Duties:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Provide general dental care including restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, and periodontal treatments
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental extractions
- Educate patients on oral health care and preventive measures
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records systems
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentialit
Treat patients with kindness.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proficient in medical terminology and coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Experience or interest in working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft or other electronic health record systems is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and protocols
- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Competency in taking vital signs and interpreting medical imaging results
