Early Head Start (EHS) is a federally funded program that offers no-cost services to qualifying families within our community. We provide comprehensive child development, health, and family services through various program options tailored to meet the needs of low-income and at-risk families.
As the Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the fidelity of the EHS model and adherence to program best practices. You will supervise EHS home-based Family Advocates and support the recruitment, enrollment, and retention of families enrolled in the program.
Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in human services, early childhood development, social work or a related field preferred.

An equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities will be considered.

At least three years of experience in early childhood education.

Demonstrated experience with database management, administrative procedures, and supervisory duties.
Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Strong coaching skills and the ability to provide 1-on-1 supervision for Family Advocates.

Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice for children under 3 years.

Proficient in database management and Microsoft Office 365.

Must be able to work autonomously with attention to detail and collaboratively with a team.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure consistent adherence to EHS model fidelity and best practices.

Supervise and support EHS home-based Family Advocates.

Assist in the recruitment, enrollment, and retention of families.

Manage and maintain accurate database records.

Implement and oversee administrative procedures.

Perform other supervisory duties as required.
Additional Requirements: Must possess a valid driver’s license without restrictions. Child protective services, criminal background checks, and a TB Risk Assessment are required. A health exam is required upon hire.
