TITLE: Architectural Glass Sales Manager - North America

LOCATION: Client prefers one reside in New York City, Boston, or Washington D.C.
COMPENSATION: Base salary plus 30% annual bonus potential

Core Objectives:
· Simplify and translate technical product specifications and present sales materials and architectural samples to architects, bidders, consultants, and contractors through in-person presentations and tradeshows, virtual meetings and proactive phone calls.
· Provide technical assistance in the selection of materials and recommended glass make-ups for projects and varying applications
· Create snapshot views of interior illustrations to enable performance-based specifications that drive the sales of the product portfolio.
· Gathering product information and project details to submit to the sales department to prepare the quotes and follow up on quotes as necessary with both the factory and the client
· Maintain connections and build relationships.
· Work with a network of independent sales representatives to ensure broad representation of the company throughout the relevant markets in the U.S.
· Partner with the technical and sales team members at our factories in Germany, Switzerland, and the U.S.
· Provide visibility to changing market needs and future market demand
· Engage in pricing negotiations as an intermediary between our customers and our factory teams.
Future Prospect
· Grow the presence of the company products in the U.S. market by becoming a technical resource on daylighting
Requirements Core
· 5-10 years of outside sales experience working with architects on technical building products in NY or northeastern part of the U.S. in a major metropolitan area (e.g. Boston, Washington, DC)
· Comfortable with metrics related to pricing, profitability, cost, and supply chain.
· Scan for opportunities and work to mitigate risks.
· Bachelor's degree in business, architecture, or communication or equivalent education/experience
· Remote role with willingness to travel up to 50-60% of the time
· Valid driver's license and vehicle for business travel
Nice to have
· Experience working with the construction of schools, museums, transportation buildings and buildings of the future
· Experience working with daylight modeling software to take architectural drawings and show the look and performance of various company products
