Our clinic/boutique is centrally located near the Greenwich train station within close proximity to the bustling and prestigious Greenwich Avenue. Job Summary
The front desk coordinator is responsible for the reception area at the clinic. Includes the greeting of all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding clinic services and products, booking appointments, checking the guest into the computer system and charging for services performed including retail purchases.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Punctuality, be on time to prepare, open and greet guests for scheduled appointments and walk-in clients.
- Properly open and close the clinic each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Accurately schedule, change/reschedule and cancel clinic appointments.
- Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves clinic facilities.
- Provide detailed descriptions of clinic treatments, packages, services, facility features and hours of operation.
- Responsible for point of sale transactions as applicable (i.e. guest check out, gift certificates, retail sales, etc.)
- Utilize clinic computers with skill and proficiency.
- Maintains an accurate clinic cash drawer and adheres to all cash handling policies.
- Answer the phone promptly and use the guest’s name throughout the phone conversation.
- Actively promote the clinic, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
- Responsible for product knowledge, retail transactions and support/close technical staff sales.
- Maintain eye contact when addressing external and internal guests.
- Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean; safe, fully stocked and well organized work area.
- Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time.
- Maintain a positive attitude and actions, contribute toward a quality work environment through a display of courtesy, hospitality, sensitivity and professionalism to guests and fellow employees.
- Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the clinic.
- Assist in all areas of clinic operation as requested by management.
- Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the clinic that require attention.

- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.
- Must possess basic math and money handling skills.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years customer service experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
