Job Responsibilities:
1. Dispatch Operations:
- Efficiently coordinate with VP and Operations Manager to dispatch lawn maintenance and landscape crews to job locations.
- Prioritize and schedule tasks based on urgency, customer requirements, and crew availability.
- Communicate effectively with field staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
2. Inventory Management:
- Maintain detailed equipment and truck inventory checklists.
- Regularly update inventory records to reflect current stock levels and equipment condition.
- Coordinate with KMJ Leadership to ensure necessary supplies and equipment are available for upcoming jobs.
3. Quality Control:
- Conduct on-site quality control checks to ensure crew work meets company standards and customer expectations.
- Address any issues promptly, providing photos and feedback to KMJ Leadership and crews.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for in-field process improvement.
4. Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital records of dispatched crews, equipment usage, and quality control findings.
- Generate reports summarizing daily operations, inventory status, and quality control results.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in dispatching landscaping operations. Must be familiar with landscape equipment and truck inventory management.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Clear background check – a Federal Level II background check is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to utilize digital platforms and channels to organize crews and documentation.
- Problem-solving abilities. Must have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
- Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities concurrently. Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively communicate with field staff, management, and clients.
