ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, MIT REGIONAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP ACCELERATION PROGRAM (REAP),
Sloan School of Management, to collaborate with MIT staff, faculty, clients, and vendors in the operation, delivery, and execution of MIT REAP, a global initiative across over 80 regions. Will onboard and manage three to four overlapping cohorts of participants across a 24-month flagship Global Program and an 18-month customized Focus Program; set up and maintain a learning management platform for each cohort; track and review participant deliverables, including written assignments, presentations, and activity updates; strategize and work cross-functionally with the communications team, including Sloan Media Relations and other PR agencies, to develop and execute on a timeline of strategic activities related to events/programs; contribute expertise to program and event management on topics such as travel logistics, run of show, and speaker management; evaluate and pilot new concepts in event operations, content, and event management to enable more efficient use of resources; and deliver a portfolio of programs and events including workshops, conferences, and ancillary events.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree; at least two years’ academic administration experience, including experience in B2B event planning within a higher education or corporate environment; proven track record of successful conference/event management; and strong organizational, interpersonal, time management, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to approach duties with flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, pressured work environment with last-minute changes and deadlines; work effectively with all levels of the organization; and work independently and as a member of a team. PREFERRED: innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem experience, international event experience, familiarity with MIT, and social media and design skills. Job #23915-7
Salary range: $63,860 - 85,388 - 106,915, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
