Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and passionate certified Teachers to join our esteemed charter school community in grade K-2. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our young students and helping them grow into confident and capable individuals. Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students, promoting their overall development and learning outcomes. Duties:
- Plan, develop, and implement curriculum and lesson plans in accordance with our school's standards and policies.
- Conduct and facilitate engaging and interactive classes, utilizing various learning technologies and strategies to cater to different learning styles.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure the attainment of learning objectives.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation, creativity, and respect among students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum content, ensuring alignment with our school's mission and goals.
- Provide individualized support and tutoring to students who require extra assistance.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and organized learning space.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
- Engage with parents and guardians through regular communication, ensuring transparency and collaboration in student development.
Skills:
- Proven experience in teaching or working with students in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of childhood development and learning strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum implementation.
- Experience working with students of diverse ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
- Knowledge of childcare practices and principles.
- Excellent behavior management skills.
- Ability to adapt to new teaching methods and technologies.
