Catawba Hospital located in Catawba approximately 15 miles from Roanoke is a Virginia State hospital within the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services. We are an inpatient psychiatric facility with 110 beds providing comprehensive mental-health services for our patients.

Any overtime worked will be paid at one and one-half times the regular hourly rate of pay.

Minimum Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must have a VA State Certified Nursing Assistant license.
- Experience as a Nursing Assistant in long-term care facility, mental health or related medical setting.
- Stable work history must be evident on your application.
Special Requirements:
A fingerprint-based criminal history check will be required of the finalist candidate for the position under VA Code 2.2-1201.1.
