Acera Health is a primary mental health facility for adults. We serve the general population, first responders, and veterans. We provide residential and outpatient treatment services.

MUST BE a licensed clinician (NO ASSOCIATE CLINICIANS): LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, and/or Psychologist
REQUIRED:
1. Therapist with experience working with veterans or first responders. Ideally seeking a candidate who is a veteran or first responder.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide Individual, Group and Family Therapy for each client.
- Provide crisis counseling to clients and families as necessary.
- Conducts assessments, providing diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Write safety, behavioral, and treatment plans.
- Schedule and coordinate therapy/case management sessions.
- Assess, determine and make a referral when special services are needed.
- Documentation:
- Write daily/weekly program notes for each service provided.
- Complete appropriate mental health documentation, including but not limited to, client plans, performance outcomes, progress reports, health questionnaires, and termination reports.
- Continuously review charts for new/relevant information regarding clients.
- Prepare and maintain charts in accordance with audit requirements.
- Acera Health, Inc. Clinicians also chart client’s treatments and progress in accordance with state regulations and department procedures. The therapist instructs and counsels clients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic
- regimens, including adherence to prescribed medication regimens within the scope of practice.
- Training and Consultation
- Attend clinical, planning and discharge meetings.
- Attend Supervision, if applicable
- Complete all required training assigned.
- Coordination: Participate in staff conferences to select, plan, and evaluate treatment programs, and consults with medical, nursing and psychiatric staff regarding diagnosis, strengths and deficits.
- Consults with and serves as a liaison with community agencies and other mental health programs and services to evaluate community health and social services topics and issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Attainment of at least 18 years of age
- A Criminal Background Clearance
- A Health Screening with TB test results
- Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in mental health residential treatment.
- Attention to detail and excellent documentation required.
- Knowledge of Title 9 and Title 22 regulations.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, and/or Professional Clinical Counselor.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- CPR and First Aid
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed and/or registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
