We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Lead Developer with a strong background in front-end development and team leadership, particularly in headless content management systems like Contentstack. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of web development experience, with a minimum of two years leading a team and managing agile sprint planning. We are looking for someone excited about taking ownership of our headless architecture and driving continuous improvement for our customer-facing platforms. What does the Job Entail?
Team Leadership: Lead a team of developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Project Management: Oversee the planning, development, and delivery of projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Technical Leadership: Set technical direction, enforce best practices, and ensure the team adheres to coding standards and architectural guidelines.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical requirements into business language and vice versa.
Full Stack Development: Engage in front and backend development, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices.
Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues and bugs, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of applications.
Prototyping: Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate ideas and new technologies.
Technology Strategy: Contribute to developing the company’s technology strategy and roadmap.
Innovation: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and integrating relevant advancements into the development process.
Scalability Planning: Design and implement scalable and robust architectures to handle growing user bases and data volumes.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and ensure satisfaction with delivered solutions.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including architecture designs, technical specifications, and user manuals.
Testing: Implement and oversee rigorous testing processes, including unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing.
Performance Optimization: Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
DevOps Practices: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and opportunities for team members, promoting continuous professional development.
Knowledge Sharing: Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the development team.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development with a focus on headless content management and architecture.
At least 2 years of experience leading a team of developers and managing projects from conception to completion.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Hands-on experience with Contentstack or similar headless CMS platforms.
Experience integrating with Salesforce to meet business requirements.
Solid understanding of web development best practices, including responsive design, performance optimization, and accessibility.
Leadership and Communication:
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
