USPI Cibolo Creek Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Operating Room Nurse to join our team. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.
Position requires weekdays only - no holidays, weekends, or call
Job Summary: The RN OR Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. Employees may be cross trained in other areas of Surgical Services and may be expected to perform duties other than their normal duties as staffing and patient needs change as well as perform other assigned duties.

Required Skills:
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Orthopedic experience required
- Experience in PreOP/PACU preferred
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
- Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS
- Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
