HearthCabinet Ventless Fireplaces, a luxury and eco-friendly fireplace company used by architects and designers, is seeking a full-time Showroom Sales Associate, local to the NYC area. Our flagship showroom and office is located in the Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan.

The Role:
As a Showroom Sales Associate, you will introduce clients (trade and end users) to our products for the first time, and guide them through the process of selecting each component of the fireplace to suit their specific project. Current and prospective clients call, email and visit our showroom to engage with our brand.
Reports to: President and Showroom Sales Manager
Some Key Essential Functions Include:
- Offer an attentive, patient, and respectful approach to customer service.
- Achieve goals and consistently contribute to the successful growth of HearthCabinet.
- Be knowledgeable and confident when educating clients about our products.
Day-to-day Role Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming leads (phone or email), and schedule showroom visits.
- Executes full sales cycle: Product introduction, quotes, project followup, close sales, provides fabrication updates including delays, post sale follow-up, installation support, product demonstration, client review and photo requests etc.
- Searches for new leads and projects
- Builds and maintains return clients, including outreach to trade.
- Supports any customer service issues with sales team
- Participates in trade shows and industry events
Role Requirements:
- 1-3 years of related professional sales experience
- Must have a pleasant and positive approach
- Sense of personal style, polished appearance, refined taste and eye for luxury design
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- CRM experience (Salesforce a plus!)
- Experience and/or interest in the design industry, i.e. high-end furniture, interior design, is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for several hours when maintaining our booth at trade shows and events.
- Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours per day (not continuously).
- Must be able to reach other areas of the property quickly. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Must be able to occasionally assist in moving items weighing in excess of 50 lbs.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
- On occasion, Must be able to work well under pressure, managing multiple deadlines.
