At Adaptive SDP, we are dedicated to empowering adults with behavioral and developmental disabilities through comprehensive independent living skills (ILS), adaptive skills training (AST), and supported living services (SLS).
Our team of skilled Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) work closely with individuals to enhance their socialization abilities, navigate public transportation, integrate into the community, practice self-care, prepare meals, manage finances, explore vocational opportunities, and engage in social and leisure activities.
In our pursuit of excellence, we continuously seek innovative methods and practices to enhance our services. We believe in the power of community and inclusivity, striving to create a space where every individual feels valued, understood, and empowered. Our ultimate goal at Adaptive SDP is not just to assist but to inspire our participants, enabling them to reach their fullest potential and lead fulfilling lives.
We offer flexible working hours tailored to fit both the DSP and the participant’s needs. DSPs are carefully matched with participants based on their schedules and expertise in handling developmental needs. After an initial meeting, DSPs and participants work together to determine the most suitable meeting times moving forward. This part-time role involves providing between 20-40 hours of service each month per participant. Additionally, DSPs must be able to travel to the participant's home as needed.
