Job Overview:
M.C.I. Foods, Inc., a fast-growing, privately held, frozen Mexican Food manufacturer, is looking for a dynamic, results-driven, Supply Chain Manager. M.C.I. has a long-standing record of growth since its inception in 1957. Reporting to the Vice President, you will have the opportunity to develop and shape the Supply Chain function for the company. In addition, you will deploy new modules in the company’s ERP system in support of your responsibilities and full ownership of end-to-end Supply Chain. This will include development of the Sales and Operations Planning Process (S&OP).

Core Deliverables & Responsibilities
Processes / Systems
· Process owner and execution lead for SYSPRO ERP Supply Chain modules.
· Lead the identification of training requirements and resource support to deliver an effective ERP.
· Lead and drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Develop and manage the process to align demand, supply & financial planning.
· Facilitate cross functional demand and supply meetings across all functional areas.
· Provide training and support to staff and peer leaders.
· Manage and report KPI's: Demand Plan Accuracy, Customer Service Levels, Working Capital, Distribution Expense, Bad Goods.
· Establish Continuous Improvement process to identify and drive savings initiatives and efficiencies.
· Develop and coordinate processes to ensure data integrity.
· Ensure all SQF Supplier documentation is kept current for pertinent audits.
Demand Planning / Forecast
· Liaison Transportation Management and Customer Service.
· Establish forecast/demand planning as part of the S&OP process.
Capacity / Supply Planning
· Develop an effective material requirement plan / MRP. Key deliverables include Consensus Demand Plan, Master Production Schedule, Finite Line plan & MRP.
· Lead and manage the MRP / Procurement process. Source key suppliers, negotiate purchasing agreements & pricing and ensure materials and products meet specifications and importantly - ensuring supply.
· Ensure BOM requirements are ordered, picked and staged to support the production plan.
· Direct the scheduling, receiving, sampling, storage of all Raw & Packaging materials and Finished Goods.
Inventory Management
· Own inventory processes, cost and partnership with 3rd Party Warehouse.
· Manage working capital to target levels.
· Ensure Raw, Packaging and Finished Goods inventory accuracy.
EXPERIENCE
- Required: 7-10 years of relevant experience with a solid background in end-to-end supply chain management and ERP System optimization in the food manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in managing and integrating a diverse range of business applications and data.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, highlighting strong critical thinking skills, data, and software applications acumen.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.
· Proficiency in using Syspro or similar ERP systems.
· Experience with production planning and MRP (Material Requirements Planning).
· Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.
· Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies and process improvement techniques.
· Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
· Excellent written, communication, people and organizational skills.
- Strong PC skills with advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, reporting), Word, and Adobe PDF.
- Exceptional diligence: ability to work on multiple tasks.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

· Fast paced office, required to multitask, and manage time wisely.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
· 4-year degree in related field.
