All candidates should be hard working, self-motivated and completely committed to providing outstanding customer service & patient care. Excellent technical skills, willingness to work in a high paced environment and current FL CVT license and/or 2+ years experience preferred.
Job requirements:
- Administer treatments, draw blood, place IV catheters
- Ability to prepare for, assist and recover surgical patients
- Able to monitor anesthesia competently
- Knowledge of hematology, parasitology, and cytology
- Digital radiology (positioning, operating machine)
- Accurate documentation of medical records
- Client communication and education
- Vaccine knowledge
- Familiarity with current, common preventatives
- Pharmacology (Able to calculate dosages)
- Familiar with Avimark
- Safely and calmly restrain patients
- Phone etiquette
- Must be able to safely lift 30 pounds
