In the position of 2ND Grade Teacher, the following will be required to help us develop and teach various subjects in the 2nd grade elementary curriculum. You’ll deliver lessons, assignments and assessments and oversee the emotional and social development of children. You’ll identify varying teaching methods that work best for all students.

- Your role will impact the organisation by ensuring students understand concepts and maintain accurate records of students’ progress in class and on examinations.
- Support positive school culture by engaging with colleagues to think, create, and reflect.
- Create shared understanding around the goals of world languages, and how that fits in with the various grade levels.
- Maintain a learning focused classroom culture based on high expectations, routines, and mutual respect so that all students feel safe to move out of their comfort zone to achieve more.

Required Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in education preferred.
- Valid teaching certificate.
- Completion of a student teaching through a degree at a university or teacher training/certification program.
- At least one year of teaching experience preferred
- Training in effective instructional methods
- Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures.
- Excellent analytical skills – with the passion and drive to demonstrate and quantify success.
- Results orientated with the ability to consistently map efforts against identified KPIs.
- Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.
- You’d like to work in a purpose-led sector.
