Head of Inventory Financial Planning & Analysis
Job Overview
Gemplers seeks a strong people leader to lead our Inventory and Purchasing team. The candidate would use strong FP&A skills to perform all product lifecycle functions of forecasting, inventory planning, purchasing, and liquidation
The role will oversee three category managers and one purchasing assistant. The category managers’ primary responsibilities are purchasing and partnering with product leader on category growth plans that involve improving the product assortment.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years progressive responsibility within an FP&A, Inventory, Purchasing, roles where the experience should normally include inventory, forecasting & planning, and/or finance responsibilities within an inventory driven organization.

Qualifications
· Finance, Accounting or another closely related business application
· 10+ years progressive responsibility in FP&A, inventory, purchasing within a retail or consumer goods environment
· Works comfortably with large data sets utilizing query, reporting and summarization features within Excel / BI tools
· Leads root cause analysis, including self-critical observations, to provide constructive feedback and opportunities for improvement
· Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast paced environment; detail oriented with strong organization skills
· Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
· Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication
· Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization
· Proficiency in Excel and demand planning tools
Reports To
The role will report to the CFO/COO but this role is a highly collaborative role. The role will collaborate with all departments including marketing, product, sales, operations
Base Salary, Commission, & Benefits
This is a full-time in-person position in Mt Horeb, WI (20-minutes west of Madison)
The base salary is semi-negotiable based on experience.
