Magnify is seeking to hire motivated and bright Certified Pharmacy Technicians who are looking for new opportunities in the geriatric realm. Applicants must have a current Illinois Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification.
Start Date: July 15th
Location: Downtown Chicago (ONSITE) Wednesdays are REMOTE - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday are In-Office.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
Hourly Rate: Starting at $20/hr (potential to go up to $24/hr depending on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to patients to fill and refill prescriptions, provide medication information, and pharmacy transfers.
- Communicate with prescribers and pharmacies to process prescription requests, obtain necessary authorizations, and resolve any prescription-related issues.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools to manage patient information, track prescription orders, and maintain accurate records.
- Document detailed and comprehensive notes within the CRM system for each interaction, ensuring a clear record of patient interactions and medication-related discussions.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality and data security throughout all interactions and data handling.
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics, meeting and exceeding established goals for call volume, prescription processing, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and feedback with a positive attitude and a high level of professionalism.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of prescription drugs, their uses, side effects, and interactions to assist patients with accurate medication information.
- Assist with training and mentoring new team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a retail pharmacy setting.
- Active Pharmacy Technician License is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, for managing patient data and prescription information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient interactions and prescription details.
- Empathetic and patient-focused approach to customer service, particularly in dealing with the geriatric population.
- Familiarity with pharmacy operations, prescription fulfillment processes, and medical terminology.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced call center environment and meet performance metrics.
